Problem on BE15 agent update

Hi,

Just updated BE server to BE15.

Then I copied agent folder from BE server to remote server for installation.

After installation, agent got error "cannot obtain settings for the agent for windows publishing from the registry".

Since in previous version update, all settings was kept.

Please advice.

Hi,

Agent is upgrade from BE2012 to BE15.

As in previous version installation, one of the step asked to input BE server but not existed in BE15.

Have you tried pushing out the remote agent, rather than installing it manually?

i just try manually only, since many servers in my situation.

manually is faster way to install.

Have you added the media server's IP address to the Publishing tab ?

What accounts have full permissions on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Symantec\Backup Exec For Windows ?

Is there a installation interface while push installation ?

Why so you want an installation interface? When you push out the agent it will be installed automatically

You can find out the same information while performing a push install as well.

How do you know you don't have these information if you have not tried it out?
