Hi Experts.

I have a little problem that i can't solve that.

I have two servers. first is my Active Directory, that i have installed backup exec. the second is my Hyper-V Server.

I have a device that i can put 7 tapes, and each day i use one and it's installed on The Hyper-V Server.

My question is:

Can i use the backup exec from my AD to rec my data in the tapes on Hyper-V server?

What license can i have to use this service? and what configuration i have to do for it work?

Thanks

Yes, i am sure.

To use a tape library with BE it must be connected to and accessible from BE Media Server.

No, tape devices must be connected to Media Servers. In your case to AD server.
