Problem with backup on windows2000 server

Hi Veritas
When ever we try to backup a specific folder on our server, we get the error:
"Unable to open the item" , "Access denied to directory" and "directory not found. can not backup directory."
The problem only occurs on a specific folder. The folder contains profile data for our Active Directory users. It is only some folders within the profile folder where the error occurs, so it couldn't be a security issue on the profile folder or ?
Installed software on server:
Windows2000 server SP4
Backup Exec Media Server for Windows 9.0 rev. 4454
Active Directory
I can send/upload the job log if needed.

Thank your for posting your query,

Final Error Description: "Unable to open the item" , "Access denied to directory" and "directory not found. can not backup directory."
Solution:
This error will occur when running a scheduled job which contains a reference to one or more directories which have been removed from the target drive.

I have made some changes to our backup job, and on monday I can see if have made any changes.
