Problema con VSS - Exchange 2007

Tengo el siguiente problema:

En la aplicación Backup Exe 2010, instalada sobre Windows 2008 Estandar, trato de respaldar las base de datos de Exchange 2007 y me arroja el siguiente error:

Error final: 0xe000fed1 - Ocurrió un fallo al consultar el estado del escritor. Categoría de error final: Errores de recurso Para obtener información adicional acerca de este error, vaya al vínculo V-79-57344-65233

V-79-57344-65233 - AOFO: Fallo de inicialización en: "\\correo.gesfor.cl\Microsoft Information Store\Storage Primary". Advanced Open File Option utilizada: Servicio de instantánea de volumen de Microsoft (VSS). Error del proveedor de instantáneas (0xE000FED1): Ocurrió un fallo al consultar el estado del escritor. Consulte el Visor de eventos de Windows para obtener más detalles. Nombre de editor: Exchange Server, ID de editor: {76FE1AC4-15F7-4BCD-987E-8E1ACB462FB7}, Ultimo error: El editor VSS ha fallado, pero puede reintentarse la operación (0x800423f3), Estado: Fallo durante la operación de preparación de la instantánea (8).

No tengo instalada la opción Open File Option. Por favor ayuda urgente. Gracias.

First of all to do exchange backup you don't need AOFO agent & as exchange agent would help you to do backup of exchange databases & with exchange 2007& above your backup by default are snapshot backup

So in this case you need to verify is by going to command prompt on exchange server enter vssadmin list writers & see if all writers are stable & not in failed state or waiting for completion

If that is the case please restart exchange server once & then try to do backup & see if that help this would be like workaround but if your writers are failing then you need to register vss dll on exchange server or call Microsoft to diagnose on this VSS issue
