Problems installing on centos 5

I'm trying to install the Backup Exec 12.5 agent on several CentOS 5 systems and none of them are working.  I've downloaded the 12.5 agent and extracted it.  When I run ./installralus (as root) I get:

[root@localhost ralus]# ./installralus
./perl/Linux/bin/perl: line 1: XSym: command not found
./perl/Linux/bin/perl: line 2: 0011: command not found
./perl/Linux/bin/perl: line 3: 287c27293b72368077d3a94ae73db414: command not found
./perl/Linux/bin/perl: line 4: perl-static: command not found

Any idea what's going?  I've read through the BEAdmin guide and haven't found anything useful.

I installed ralus 12.5 on two CentOS 5 x86_64 servers without that problem.

Also, the annoying ralus agent crash (we had since 10d) has gone now as it seems.

 Anything new about this issue? I tried to install on a fresh SuSE 11.1 and 11.0 and get the same error:

I'm getting a completely different error when trying to install Ralus on a CentOS 5 server.

Anyone know what to do about this??


Installing VRTSralus 12.5.2213 on localhost Unable to copy, /root/BEWS\ 12.5 Agents/pkgs/Linux/VRTSralus.tar.gz, on watchdog to, /var/tmp/vxif/RALUS/VRTSralus, on localhost.
