Problems with installing after uninstalling on new server

OS: Windows 2003 Server

I've tried uninstalling Backup Exec and reinstalling it.  It was working fine before I uninstalled.

I tried re-installing using the original install disk with the original serial number.  Everything seems to work fine until it gets to the end of installation.  At that point I get an error that says the install failed.  The error is as follows.

The wizard was interrupted before VERITAS Backup Exec 10.0 for Windows Servers could be completely installed. Your system has not been modified. To install this program at a later time, please run the installation again.

I tried the solutions in the support article, but nothing seems to work.

You might try the Windows Cleanup Utility to remove any Veritas BE entries and MSXML entries.

Are you talking about the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility?

I tried it with no luck.

I'm still getting the same errors.  Would it help to run a registry cleaner?

I also have the latest version of Peachtree Accounting installed on this machine.  Does that make a difference?

Have you tried stopping all related services, including SQL, before you reinstall?

Fixed it.  Had to install SQL Express seperately from SQL folder.
