Public Folder Backup errors on Exchange Server

Hi Everyone!

The last few weeks i have been getting errors more and more in backup exc 10. They are all comming from my public folders and look like the sample below:

V-79-57344-65033 - Directory not found. Cannot backup directory parentfoldernameF06 Email102023 and its subdirectories.
V-79-57344-65033 - Directory not found. Cannot backup directory parentfoldernameF06 Email102024 and its subdirectories.
V-79-57344-65033 - Directory not found. Cannot backup directory parentfoldernameF06 Email102026 and its subdirectories.
V-79-57344-65033 - Directory not found. Cannot backup directory parentfoldernameF06 Email102027 and its subdirectories.


when i research this error code it tells me to remove the public folders from the selection to solve the issue. I know this will solve the issue but then i will not be backing up the public folder store anymore. I get similar errors on email boxes that are waiting to be purged, but once they are purged the error disappears. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to resolve this?

I went ahead and recreated the public folders that were giving the errors and the errors have disappeared now
