I am trying to restore a public contact folder from a B2D backup and I keep getting this in the job completion status:
Completed status: Failed Final error: 0xe0008488 - Access is denied.
Final error category: Security Errors

Each individual contact record fails with this error:
Access denied to database Accounts Payable.
Error writing file data.
I am using the built-in domain Administrator account, which is an Exchange Full Administrator, Domain Administrator, and in the local Administrators group on the server. The account is visible in the Global Address List. I have removed the default Deny permissions for the Domain Admins group on the server and storage group, so the Administrator account has full control to all the Exchange data, as far as I can tell.
I have tried a number of times with different options but I always get the same result: overwrite/don't overwrite, backup service account/domain administrator account, parent folder exists/doesn't exist, restore security/no security, redirect/don't redirect.
I'm at wits end. This should be point-and-click easy, but now I've been trying for several hours with no success.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
