Qual/Certs of new hardware with Veritas Backup Exec - how do I do it?

My company is developing a Virtual Tape appliance, we are working with a few backup ISV packages, however we are having trouble with Backup Exec.

Is there a procedure at Symantec/Veritas to qualify a new product with your software? Including the ability to work with us to find out if the product works correctly, and feedback on why something may not work?

This is my first attempt at contact with your company, and if there is a contact I need to have, please let me know. Thank you.

As of now we do not have any documentation on that,however if all the system requirements are met then there wouldnt be any conflict issues. What is the product that you are testing? Would you please elaborate the exact issue as in problem with Backup Exec?
