I have recently install Backup Exec 10d server with 5 client servers. Two of the servers have the Open File Agent installed. I set up a simple backup schedule with all five servers in a selection list doing a Diff Monday - Saturday and Full on Sunday.
I have the Use advanced open file option selected for the job template.
The two servers with AOFO agent backup without errors the other servers report that Initialization failed try reinstalling agent.
I was under the impression that Veritas would only try to use AOFO on the servers with the agent installed not all servers.
You would need to create 2 seperate jobs, one for the resources which have AOFO installed on them with the AOFO activated and the other one only for the resources which do not have AOFO installed on them.
