Hi,
I've a Backup Veritas 12.5 that works on a W2003R2. I use a LTO Ultrim 3. All patxes are applied.
Since last week, on my working job, the backup state keeps in queue mode althought the device is online, and there is no way to put the status in executing mode again.
How can I change the status to continue the backup ??
Wich could be the reason for changing the state from executing to queued mode???
Thanks

Hi, this could be caused by multiple things. You may have another application interfering with the VSS writers for this job. Use the steps in this link to verify your writers are stable. http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH130424
Check your windows events for errors occurring during the time of this backup job.
Make sure the remote server has the same version of the Remote Agent as the Media server.
to get the job going again, pause and unpause the server from the DEVICES tab in the Backup Exec console.

Go the Alerts tab and check whether there are any outstanding alerts. If there are, respond to them.
