I'm newbie there, but I'm using BE since 8.5 version so I'm think I'm not greenhorn ;)
Never ever have problems , until Big Revolution - Windows Server 2008 Standard
So I plan to purchase upgrade from 11.d to 12.5
I"ve downloaded 60day trial to some practice
Install It and every patch, hotfix - whatever Symantec have published for 12.5 BackupExec
Every full and Diff backup going perfect
every recovery of any file/files was succesful also
but right now I've plan to upgrade mainboard, RAM, HDD, - every important hardware part to main Active Directory server
so
I cant use bootable IDR - because bootable IDR don't work for my language (0000000415) :(
still I can use non-bootable IDR :)
I've installed Windows Server 2008 (the same computer name, with or without joining AD, I've even tried the same IP adress ) , plus agent for BackupExec(I'm know it's isn't necessary), everythings goin cool
works perfect :)
recover under non-Bootable image - recover perfect everything - but System State in empty (f eg: c:\windows\sysvol)
I've used standard recover with redirection (\\new server\C;, \\new_server\System?State; \\new_server\Shadow?Copy?Components)- every file on drive C was perfect recovered
but still System State isn't present
recover without any error :)
but there isn't recovered System State files
most funny things is - when I recover System State to another location feg: C:\blabla\
every file is on board, even SYSVOL !!
please help me - what I'm doing wrong ??
