Exchange 2007 Mailboxes not being backedup

Hi,

I'm running BE 12.5 and am backing up Exchange 2007 mailboxes with the option for individual restore enabled.

I have just noticed that not all mailboxes are being backed up, including ones which were succssfully backed up in the past.

Has any one experienced this and if so any suggestions on how to resolve this.

I've come across issues similar to this in 2003 exchange, try unselecting the mailboxes and submitting the job then go back and reselect them then submit the job again and run the job. You might also want to create a second job to just backup exchange and see what happens.

Also if Exchange resides on another physical machine I would re-push teh agent again to this svr.
Selected to backup the entire server and not just the information store.

Backing up the mailboxes (like in 2003) is not supported. Individual restore enabled is supported.

Please count the number of mailboxes you do see in your restore selection list under the <Storage Group> \ <Mailbox Database> and reply.

Hi,

BE 12.5 backups Exchange 2007 mailboxes but shows only 32 mailboxes in restore window. This is issue with version 12.5 and it is addressed in the hotfix -319699 --http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/319699.htm

To apply the above hotfix you should also install SP1
