I have problems with russian names of files and folder that were been restored from Backup Exec 10.1d. I'm trying to restore a file that was located on a Novell 5.1 server, backed up by a Microsoft server with Backup Exec 10.1d and a remote agent on the Novell. Novell server has file and folder names in Russia and English code page. Also Novell 5.1 server has following region settings:
1) "Current NLM language is (4) English"
2) "Current DOS code page is (850)"
and the W2K3 file server is Russian locale distribution kit.
I try running a restore to redirect the file to the any local drives (C:\ or D:\) on W2K3 server and it has successful status but Russian names of files and folders are displayed incorrectly. The English names of files and folders are displayed correctly.
Are there any ideas about this problem?
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!
