Remote Agent in DMZ Symantec Backup Exec ver 12

Hi all

My backup server is in the lan .
i want to back up a server that is located on DMZ with SQL agent
which port is needed to be open from dmz to lan to make the agent contact the backup server in the lan?
I can't find any document about Version 12

Thank you .

I have another intersting issue , once I licensed the product in media server , the backup started to fail to backup its SQL DB as it is no longer shown in the selection list!
Is that the case for Version12, I did not have this issue in Version 11.

If it the case and I have to live with (I don't think we can afford SQL agent for media server) what are the recommendations?
Although I beleive if it the case, Symantec should come with a solution for the media server DB backup .

Thank You

You do not need to backup the SQL DB on the media server using the agent. When BE does its database maintenance, it creates a backup copy of the DB, called BEDB.BAK. This will be included in the media server backups (provided you are backing up the media server).
Have a look at http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/278944.htm for backing up through a firewall.
