Remote Agent on 64 Bit W2K3 with Xeon 3.0 and BE version 10 on W2K server

I apologize if I am rehashing but I have looked for my problem and can't find it. I spoke with someone at Symantec support today who told me to download the 10d s/w from the Trialware section and to load the Remote Agent from that media. I also explained that I had version 10 running on the server and a couple of other W2K servers runinng Remote Agents also. If I try to run from the RANT64 I am told the media is incorrect for the processor, and I can't get the RANT32 to to work. I loaded Symantec AV client on this box from a RANT64EX dir, I figured there would be one on the downloaded 10d media since the Symantec/Veritas merge. I was told by support I didn't have to upgrade the 10 on the Media Server, and how do you go from 10 to 10d anyway?

You will need to upgrade to 10d (10.1) from 10.0 if you want to install a 64 bits remote agent. You will also need to apply the hotfix 1 prior to installing the remote agent. Here are the links:
10d Installation files: http://support.veritas.com/docs/279332
Upgrade from 10.0 to 10d: http://support.veritas.com/docs/281044

Thank you for the reply. I figured I had to upgrade the server and other agents (tried to avoid it) but since I was told I did not have to I tried. Backups have been running fine for over a year on all servers, hate to stir things up sort of speak. I will upgrade all then and report back.
