Remote agent failed to start on Red Hat EL 6.1

I just installed the remote agent on Red Hat EL 6.1 and it failed to start after successful installation. I checked the Software Compatibility List published 2011-07-29, be_2010_scl.pdf, and I can't find any reference to Red Hat EL 6.1, ;-(.

Is there an updated RA I can download to support Red Hat El 6.1? If not, when do we expect an updated RA to support it?

No.  The SCL provides the latest information on compatibility.  If a software is not there, that is it.  Symantec does not release a support roadmap.

If you like you can post a request for support in the Ideas section.  If there are enough other users who vote for it, it may get included in some future release of BE.
