Removing a Renamed Server

We are running BUE version 10 on a Windows 2003 server. We just renamed one of the servers that we backup nightly a few days back. The day after, we modified our nightly backup job to include the newly named server. This morning everything looked good except one thing. The job failed because it's still looking for the old named server. The new named server was backed up without any issues. Where can I go to remove the old named server???

Hi,

Double click on the job in "Job Setup". "Selections" > "View format" > "Text".

Search for the entry of the "Server" name select and delete the corresponding entry.

Run the job again.

The other workaround is to simply create a completely new job which obviously wont have the old server name!
