Request - How to set the current caso server as media server only and set deply new Caso on the new machine

now we we have many jobs about 100 job  run on caso server(win 2003) , we want to depoly new server (win 2008) act as caso only and leave old caso as  media server .

How to deploy that correctly 

note old caso run on windows 2003 and the new server will  operate on windows 2008 R2 64 bit

Hi,

Do you want to carry any settings across or not?

firstly you're going to have to remove any media servers from your CASO. You've got to do this through BEutility.exe, or on the CASO server where you can delete the server.

Set up the second server as the CASO, and then start attaching servers to that.

Once completed, you can remove the CASO license from your old CASO server which will return it to a normal MMS...
