Restore Exchange information store to an alternative directory

Is there a way to restore the Exchange information store to an alternative directory using Veritas Backup exec 8.5?

Exchange 5.5 or 2000?

For 5.5, not if you used the Exchange Agent. Backup Exec merely restores to the existing data store.
