Restore a deleted VM

Hi!

How can we restore a deleted VM if the backup was taken directly through the agent installed in VM instead of Hyper-V Physical Server? The VM backup was fully selected.

Hello,

If you ran the backup via the RAWS (Remote Agent for Windows) agent instead of the Hyper-V host you will need to make a new VM, push a remote agent and start the restore.

You can find the master technical document for Disaster Recovery here -"http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH83015" and you will need to select what type of restore you would like to run.

If the backup has the SDR light on, then you can use SDR to restore the machine after you have created a new VM.
