Restore data old tapes Issues

hello im trying to restore data from old tape i follow the procedure fine (inventories, catalog, restore selection)

each time i tries it ask for a tapes i insert it but it was ejected because it's not the good one it seems 

what can i do ?

It may be part of a set.  You need to insert the tapes in sequence.

its a set of 3 

i insert the first one inventory until 3 then catalog it everything went well except when i tries to restore them it ask for tape 2 i insert it but keep asking for it

Try inserting tape 1 first.

so inventory 3 to 1 and then catalog 1 to 3 ?

No.

You said that you have already done your catalog.  What I am saying is that during the restore, insert tape 1 and then tape 2.

ok i will tries but the data i want is on tapes 2 -3

hello all

i tries with 3 tapes from same set i did the inventory and with the last tape i start a catalogue it say successful but 0 bytes of data when i tries to do restore i get the media was not found etc....

some others tapes are working without issue i can catalog and i see data 

some other set its 0 bytes and if i tries to recover i see message that the media is not present in catalog 

what should i do ? rename catalog folder ?

i retry another set of tapes (3) catalog still at 0 and when i tries to restore data i have a message saying the the media is not present and i need to do catalog 

i dont get it ....
