Backup works fine but just attempted to restore Public Folders and got this:

That's what I was following when I got the error. This is a how-to article, not troubleshooting. It doesn't go into possible problems at all.

Tried with a few different backups, just in case one was damaged. But they all result in the same errors. So I guess I have 5 backups that cannot be restored.

Does this really have ANYTHING to do with "encryption" like the error states?

I disabled encryption, just to test a backup/restore and it works. So apparently the "encryption" feature in Backup Exec does not work so well.
