Restore old SQL 2005 DB without overwriting current

Is it possible to restore an old SQL 2005 DB without stopping or overwriting the current production DB.  I have a backup of a DB from last month that I need to be able to access. Can I restore it to another drive while leaving the production instance online?  All the blogs and post I've seen so far will show you how to do everything but that :(   Oh and another catch, the drive is about 80% full so it has to be restored to a different drive.

Thanks
