Restore stays queued and the tape needed is in the library

A restore job performed with a IBM 3502 DLT Tape Library stays queued and the tape with the needed file is in the library. Any suggestions on how to proceed, or alternate was to restore the file?

Using Backup Exec 9.1 rev. 4691 SP1, hotfix 40, 43 on Windows 2000 Advanced Server

After inserting the tape in the library, have you inventoried the appropriate slot?

Is the library partitioned? IF so, does your restore job popint to a wrong partition?

Yes, I have inventoried the slot. The tape was already in the library, there should have been no reason to though.

Yes the library is partitioned, usually pointing the job at the library works fine, however, I have tried the job pointing at the library, each partition and at each drive with the same results.

I have tried the same file from different dates and tapes with the same result

The answer was to re-index the restore database per:
