Using backup exec, If you created a backup of a single server OS drive, can you restore to a newly created Mirrored Raid (2-drives) OS drive?

Appologies for the incorrect answer , Have researched about the same and it seem the restore is possibleas long as the drive is being seen as a local drive. You have to configure raid first and make sure you see the drive as local and then perform the restore.

It can be done. The OS is not concern about whether the drive is a simple drive or a RAID array. All it is concerned about is whether there is any change in configuration, i.e. the disk size is different or the drive letter is different.
The only problem with restoring to a mirrored drive is your disk driver. It is the absence of the proper disk drive which cause the restore to fail, not the fact that it is now mirrored or is RAID-5
