Restoring Backup Exec data using NetBackup 6.5

Hey all,

Does anyone know if it's possible to restore Backup Exec data using NetBackup 6.5 Unix.

Here's the breakdown.

A client is using Symantec 12 Backup Exec to Ultrium3 LTO tapes. My system is Veritas NB 6.5 on Solaris to Ultrium 3 LTO tapes. They want me to restore their files in an event of an emergency using their tapes on my system.

What I've found so far says I can't use Unix to do this. Could someone confirm if this is possible?

The following  technotes confirms that you can import image from backup Exec windows images 12 since NBU 6.5.2 version.

The administrator's guide tells that you can  restore unix data on unix system and windows data on windows system.
