Roll Back when applying patch to Backup Exec 9.0

I have recently acquired a Quantum Altrim LTO 2 drive and attached it to my backup server. The O/S sees the drive but Backup Exec doesn't. I've tried installing several patches and also tried SP1. Every time I do, when it is starting the BEServer back up, it rolls back all the changes. I looked at the Backup log file and I don't see anything that would indicate ther is a problem.

The upgrade from Backup Exec 9.0 to 9.1 is a free upgrade. Please refer to the following technote for this download :

Then install the latest drivers:
