This is my setup:
1 backup server attach to 2 tape drives with 8 clients.
Weekly backup tape media:4
Weekly duplicate tape media: 4
I have created a weekly policy with backup template and duplicate template for all the 8 clients.
I have scheduled the backup to run on Saturday at 6pm and the duplicate template to be run on Sunday at 10am
My full backup run and 8 clients completed before 9am on Sunday.
However, for some reasons the duplicate jobs start 2 clients at the same time and loading 2 different duplicate tape media at the same time. Hence, both duplicate jobs are waiting to load the backup set tape media, it will just remain at the status "loading media".
Please advice any work about or can i limit the duplicate jobs to run 1 at the time, complete 1 client, then start the other client duplicate jobs.
