Running BExec 10 alongside BExec 12

Hi,

In the process of transitioning to MSX07, part of this obviously requires 64 bit BExec 12, to save faffing about in the short term i'd like to install BExec 12 alongside our existing 10 installation and utilise all the same devices

Is this poss does anybody know ?

Not on the same media server. 

And the Remote Agents are not compatible either

Hi Ken, Cheers for that, Can you enlarge on the Remote Agents compatability a little

Far as i'm aware our Maintenace covers us for upgrades including the Agents, do we need to purchase additional ??

a v12 media server will accept a v11d RAWS, but is only supported "for the purpose of rolling upgrades"  IE after installind a new media server, while you  you are updating all your remote agents as time permits.  In a production environment, all your agents must be at the same version (prefereably at the same build level).

v10d and earlier agents are not supported with v12 media servers.  You may (or may not) get a v12 media server to connect, but the configuration is totally unsupported
