I'm running windows server 2003 

Backup exec 2010 small business edition

SQL server 2005 

 I get the following error on event Viewer

is the SQL service on?  does this error occur during the backup job?

Imosla, 

Yea the service is running, and the backup is performed at night, and this error was encountered during the day, so i guess does not occur during a backup job.
