Scheduling issues

Running 10d and I am running my jobs under a policy. I have 2 questions.

1. My daily jobs were orginall setup not to incude Saturday and Sunday. I ahve since modified my policy to include those day. But what I am seeing is they are not running at all. Every other day runs find, but those days don't run at all.

2. I have three media sets, monthly, weekly and daily. The sets are setup as follows:
Daily - Overwrite: 3 weeks, Append: 4 Days
Weelky - Overwrite: 4 weeks, Append 1 Day
Monthly - Overwrite: 1 year, Append: 1day

After checking my media sets, especially the daily and weekly , I see several tapes that are highlighted in blue. It's my understanding the tapes hightlighted in blue are available for overwrite, which is also indicated as overwriteable withing the media set. But it appears that Veritas is pulling meda from the scratch set first instead of looking at the overwritable meida in the media set. My question is why does Veritas pull media from scratch instead of using the media that is hightlighted blue.

For the first question I would recommend deleting the template within the policy then recreate it.

For the second question go to tools -> options -> media management. Change the overwrite behavior to use recycable media rather than scratch media.
