(Server: "NAS01") ODBC access error. Possible lost connection to database or unsuccessful access to catalog index in the database.

Is this bad? It happened on it's own. I was not doing a catalog operation...

Hi Sam,

This error might have occurred due to corruption of Backup Exec database.
Start Beutility and then select "Use best recovery method for current
configuration".

Also verify that the path of catalogs in "Tools > Options->Catalog" is accurate.

Thanks and regards,

I see nowhere in BEutility to select "use best recovery method for current
configuration"

Catalog location was intact.

Thanks.
