Service Pack Install

Hello:
I am receiving an error code=2 when attempting to install SP1 for BE 10d. The error info in the log does not match any of those I've found in the support section:

I've used MS's Install Clean Up utility, and the remote agents are not listed. I'm at a loss.
The only other explanation I have at this point is that we've had to use port 9000 for ndmp due to another service already having claimed port 10000.

Ideas anyone?

Please repair the backup exec and then do silent installation of service pack.

The repair operation had no effect on the installation of the service pack. I am still receving the following in the error log:

I attempted to locate the catalog info as described in the above log (C:\Program Files\VERITAS\Backup Exec\NT\\bcp_out.out), but this file does not exist.

Yes, it errored out in an identical manner to what I've quoted above. It seems to be having trouble with the catalog database upgrade.
