I've noticed that when browing a selection list in BE 12.5, it's very slow. As in it takes 5 minutes at times to browse a server on the local LAN.
Browing from within Windows sees normal response times, as does a PING test. We use IP addresses in the backup selection list instead of the name (Symantec suggested it to us!), and PINGing either a server's IP address or host name gives the same normal response times. So the network is out, as is Windows.
