G'day,

I haven't yet purchased Veritas Backup yet. I have a technical question in regards to which products I should buy.

Current Setup:
1 SBS 2003 Server
1 Windows 2003 Server
The 2k3 server is a terminal server and has the tape drive, so I want it to be the back up server.
Does this mean I can still buy Backup Exec for SBS? Or do I need to purchase the individual components such as Backup Exec for Exchange, etc.

You can not use BE SBS edition, as you are planning to install BE on a W2K3 server box "

You need BE server for the BE mediaserver and the remote agent or database agents for the remote SBS server.

(for more infos, ask your VERITAS vendor)

Thanks for that. Hmm, I think I might change the tape drive to the SBS server....
