We have a Snap Server 520 running GuardianOS 5.0 that we are trying to backup with Backup Exec 12.5. We successfully installed Remote Agent for Linux or Unix Servers 12.5 onto the Snap Server, and we have the RALUS license installed on the Backup Exec 12.5 Server. When we try to backup the Snap Server, it appears in our Active Directory list, not in the Linux/Unix Servers list. We didn't have this problem with a previous Snap Server and Backup Exec 12.0 - it appeared in the Linux/Unix list. Does anybody have a solution? Could this be why our Snap Server backups have been so slow since we moved from Backup Exec 12.0 to Backup Exec 12.5?
