Snapserver 520+Quantum SL3+Backup exec 2010

Hello,

I am trying to setup my backup system for Overland Snapserver 520. We have Quantum Superloader 3 tapeloader and Windows Server 2003 where Vackup Exec will be installed. SL3 connected to the server.

I was wondering if anyone did this kind of setup and how was this done?

Is there any good "how to" on how to do it?

Are there people here on the forum using Backup exec and Snap 520?

Hi there,

Your first port of call should be the BE 12.5 HCL to verify that the device is supported.

If it isn't, chances are VERY slim you will get it to work, and Symantec won't support you with an unsupported hardware configuration.
