Startup parameters for Remote Administration Console

Hi,

I installed the Remote Administration Console on my laptop. Since it is REALLY annoying to enter

o) servername
o) username
o) domain

EVERYTIME I start this app, it would be helpful if there would be any (yes, you have guessed right, there is none, and I _have_ used Google) documentation for parameters. E.g. I would like to launche the remote administration console like this: "C:\Program Files\VERITAS\Backup Exec\NT\BkupExec.exe /server=fileserver user=administrator domain=MYDOMAIN". It is obvious that the input focus should then wait in the password field...

Any help is really appreciated.

And has been asked many times. You could always post as an Enhancement Request.

Thank you very much for the hint. Btw I did use the search function for this forum - but unfortunately w/o luck.

I posted an enhancement request as you suggested.

I am really annoyed that such a basic feature (which basically every cheap crap shareware has!) is NOT considered as a matter of course for a program that costs big money. Embarrassing.

This feature is not there becuase of security. Whould you want a shortcut on your desktop right into active directory if somebody got on your laptop. Veritas RA console that way so there is no security risk of somebody just launching the console and restore data or erasing tapes, etc.
