System beeps

Just installed BuExec 9.0 on a new Hp ML110 with 2003 SBS.

Every minute or so the system beeper lets out a weak single beep. If I stop all the BuExec services, the beeping stops. When I start the services the beeping starts again. There are no alerts in the BUEXEC alert screen.

I was able to stop the beeping with a net stop beep command from the DOS window.

Anyone know why BUEXEC is doing this?

My first thought would be that BackupExec was demanding attention to an alert, but you say there is nothing on the Alerts Tab.

Are there any Event Log entries that may apply?

Have you considered the free upgrade for v9.1 It will accept all your v9.0 serials, but you should reinstall any remoteAgents that you hve deployed

Right, no ALerts in the BUEX Alert Tab. I've checked all the event logs, but nothing applies to BUEX. BUEX has run the nightly backup job two nights in a row with 100% completion.
I am planning an upgrade as you suggest, but first applications need tuning (this is a new domain).
Thanks for links.
