*check whether the device or drive you are using is supported and tested with BEWS version 9.1 ?

*If yes install Veritas device drivers

*If no then plese install OEM device drivers

*Stop RSM service on medien Server.
*Clean the drive once or twice
*Inventory the tapes once agin and check the capacity
