Tape Catalog goes too long

Hi there

I have installed 10 Build 5520 SP1 and a HP Ultrium Storage Works 460! Now, when I want to catalog a 6 Mt old Tape then there goes something about 45 min nothing! The Tape is only winding forward and backward! and then after 15 min i have something about 10gb catalog and i get a failure The data being read from the media is inconsistent

Has someone any idea!!

Are you current on firmware and drivers for the SCSI card and backup device?
Are you using Veritas drivers or manufacturer drivers?
Do other tapes give errors, or jsut this one?
