Backup Exec 10d for Windows Servers (10.1 Rev 5629)

Hey Guys,

Just a couple quick questions. To start, I am pretty new to Backup Exec. I have been given the task of checking a customers backup operations, and after reviewing their Job History, I found that for the last 2 months, the status of all of the full backup jobs have been Canceled by User System. I find 2 errors on all jobs... Media Mount Failed and User Cancelled a Physical Volume Library Operation. So I guess my question is, are these backups any good? I don't have the time or resources to do a test restore. If the backups are good and these are just common errors, how do I correct them? Any help is greatly appreciated!

As long as the files exist in the Restore Selections Window, then yes, they can be restored

Sounds like either the tape is filling up, asking for another and then timing out, or else the tape that is mounted is not Overwriteable (for an overwriteable job) or appendable (for an Append job)
