I'm trying to restore data from an LTO tape which is three years old. We have backupExec 11d and I believe the tape was created with BackupExec 10d or even 9. I have catalogued and made an inventory of the tape but when I right click the tape device and select 'restore data' I receive the message:
"The selected media was not found in the catalogs. You must first catalog the media if you want to use it for restore operation".
I have repeatedly catalogued and inventoried the tape but still receive the same message. Can anybody help??
