I currently have Backup Exec Version 10 installed with a SQL Server 2000 Database. This database also houses data for non-related applications, and we are not in a position to move this data at this time.
I would like to uninstall BE Version 10, but leave the database behind. Then install BE Version 12 and start from scratch on configuration. We don't backup many servers from this BE server, so re-entering the information won't take long.
Is there an uninstall option for BE Version 10 that would leave the database beind?
Can SQL Server 2005 co-exist with SQL Server 2000 on the same server?
