Update from BE 9.1 to BE 11d ???

Hello,

we have BE 9.1 with Agents for Exchange2000, AOFO, W2K-Servers, NT4-Servers
and SQl Server. Now we had become a new StorageServer from Dell.
The OS is "Windows 2003 Storage Server R2 x64" and we have the Problem
that we cannot backup it with BE 9.1!!

A Agent for x64-OSs is not available, so we must update the BE9.1 to BE 11d

Is this correct??
What is with the agents - must they updated, too??

Yes, all agents must be at the same version as the media server (and preferabley at the same build level

I am new to this and I just setup a dell poweredge 2950 and I need to get veritas to work with the new storage server. I am using version 9.1. what do I need to do to get it to work. I keep getting the error message "This installation package is not supported by this processor type. Contact your product vendor."

What kind of processor is in the server you are trying to install BackupExec on?
