Upgrade to Symantec Backup 2010

Hi

We have backup symantec Backup Exec 12.5 Can you upgrade to Backup exec 2010 or is it a clean install

You can directly upgrade to BE2010 R3 no need to uninstall current version.

All the jobs, policies, catalogs and setting will be upgraded from Be12.5 to Be2010

Before proceeding with the upgrade stop the SQL service used by BE and then make a

copy of DATA & CATALOGS folder.

Above folders are located at X:\Program Files\Symantec\Backup Exec
