User-defined Netware selection/SAN interface problems...

Howdy - I'm using Backup Exec 10.1 for Windows Servers Rev. 5269 on Windows Server 2003.  I'm connecting to a Novell Netware Server using the Remote Agent for Netware (RANW) version 9.1, Build 1158.9.

The server was recently rebuilt with a brand spanking new SAN attached.  The SAN uses Gigabit NICs to talk to the Netware server and since the SAN was brought up first, Netware bound to the SAN interface before it bound to the LAN interface.  I'm fairly certain my problem lies here because when I attempt a backup, the debug log on the Windows server shows the following:

[7932] 07/02/08 12:16:41 TF_InitMediaServerReverseConnection: Data Connection: Failed to connect to remote address 10.10.254.1:1026,
system error message: A socket operation was attempted to an unreachable host.
[7932] 07/02/08 12:16:42 TF_InitMediaServerReverseConnection: Failed to re-connect to remote address 172.16.2.1:1026
[7932] 07/02/08 12:16:42 TF_InitMediaServerReverseConnection : connect() failed with the error :
[7932] 07/02/08 12:16:42  data halted: ABORTED

10.10.254.1 is the SAN interface on the server.

172.16.2.1 is the LAN interface on the server.

It's trying to hit the SAN first and then trying to reconnect via the LAN interface, for some reason.  I've tried to create a User-defined selection, but I don't know if I'm getting the syntax wrong or not.  I know I'm not supposed to configure the User-defined selection by IP address, but that seems to be the only way I can at least get challenged for authentication by the server.

Ideally, I'd like to use the Netware agent, but I can't find a way to bind it to the LAN interface.  There's no vxmon equivalent for the Netware agent, is there?

"Please help" doesn't seem to encompass the gravity of my situation!

Thanks,

Dan

No love?  Does anyone have any ideas on this one?
