User defined selection backup job fails

Systems_Depar1

I have setup 2 user defined selection shares for my web server which is outside the network by backup server is on. I cannot use the UNC path, as Backup Exec cannot locate the server, so I opted for user defined selection. I am able to see the selections, but when I try to run the job, I get the following error:
Final error: 0xa000fe29 - Authentication failed on connection to the server.

Final error category: Security Errors

I have entered and re-enterd the administrator credentials for my web server and still no luck.

Any ideas?

If it is a webserver for the general public it probaly in a DMZ of some kind. You might check your firewall settings if the BE agent can pass it.

Hello,

Please check if Remote agent is installed on the remote servers.
The remote agent service should be running under Local system account.
