Using 12.5 Rev 2213 SQL option Verify operation goes into wait state and hangs.

Using BUtDisk the backup completes and then goes into verify mode and stops. The job shows a "pause" symbol and I have to manually cancel it.

Once cancelled it shows that it completed the back-up but that it couldn't load the medium to verify it.

AOFO and Shadow Copy is activated.

The BUtDisk folder is on a W7 64bit Workstation, 6Tb JBOD raid controller. Two other server also send back-up jobs to the same disk with no errors. Only the SQL server is having this problem and only since around 1 week.

The job is using the System-Login-Account and I verified access successfully.

What happens if you backup to a B2D folder on the media server's internal disk, preferably non-RAID?  The reason I asked is that there are other discussions which pin-point the cause of slowness of B2D folders to the fact that RAID is used.

You should not use AOFO when you are backing up a SQL database.
